Haryana Chief Minister now becomes IT Guru

Tablets distributed to teachers and students under IT Base Learning Management System

Govt. departments already making maximum use of IT by working online

Chandigarh
: 6th May 2022: (Haryana Screen Bureu)::

Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Manohar Lal, who is called Bhagirath after successful implementation of many unique schemes for water conservation, also became an IT Guru when he launched the e-Adhigam scheme from Rohtak for students and distributed Tablets. While on one hand this will give momentum to the realization of Digital India vision of Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi, on the other hand, Digital Haryana will also emerge in front of the world.

Under the National Education Policy-2020, in the Learning Management System, both the teacher and the student will have to follow the IT based method of teaching, only then our students will be able to compete in this era of information technology.

The Chief Minister, understood this theme of the New Education Policy in detail and took the initiative to implement it in the state. Despite the Covid-19 pandemic, he has prepared a roadmap to implement the New Education Policy in Haryana by the year 2025 by inviting suggestions and interacting with the Vice Chancellors of universities, educationists and other subject experts through virtual medium. The target of implementation is set by 2030.

The seriousness of the Chief Minister towards the upliftment of education in the state can be gauged from the fact that as the Finance Minister, the Chief Minister has made a provision of Rs. 20,000crore for the education sector in the budget of the year 2022-23. The Chief Minister believes that in view of the new changes taking place in the education sector, budget constraints will not be allowed to come in the way.

It is noteworthy that five lakh Tablets are to be distributed to the students and teachers of class IX to XII across the state. The first phase of tablet distribution ceremony was started from 119 places including Rohtak in the state yesterday with the distribution of Tablets to the students and teachers of class X and XII.

It is also worth mentioning that in the history of the State, till now no Chief Minister had focused his attention on the extensive use of IT, while Sh. Manohar Lal took over the power of the state government departments on the occasion of Good Governance Day in the year 2014 when online system was introduced. As a result of this system, more than 500 schemes and services have become online and people no longer have to make frequent visits to government offices. They are availing these services through their mobile or nearest Citizen Service Centres or Saral Kendras.
